Florence: Farm Tour, Wine & Pasta in the Tuscan Countryside
Before you book
- The day starts in central Florence. The operator's minivan from Piazza del Tiratoio costs €20 per person return, paid by card to the driver before the ride back, and is not in the price; without it you make your own way to the farm in Fucecchio.
- On the farm: about an hour on foot through the vineyard, botanical garden and cellar, a tasting of five organic wines from the barrel with Vin Santo, olive oil and appetisers, then fresh pasta made together and eaten at a long table; individual cooking is not possible. Groups are at most 20.
- The morning session ends with lunch and is back at the meeting point about 4:30 to 5:00 PM; the afternoon session ends with dinner and is back about 9:30 to 10:00 PM. Each session needs a minimum number of guests; if it is not reached, the operator offers another session or a full refund. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
- Not suitable for people with mobility impairments, wheelchair users, vegans, people with diabetes or gluten intolerance, or people over 95; it is best for adults, since wine is central. It is also unsuitable for children under 12, yet families are told that under-12s need car seats in the minivan, requested and confirmed in advance or transport is refused with no refund, so ask the operator before booking with children.
