Florence: Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano Day Trip with Lunch
Before you book
- Meeting points: Via dell'Oriuolo in central Florence for the Small Group option, and the Villa Costanza tram and bus terminal for every other option. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included; it is a 12-hour excursion.
- What you get depends on the option. “Low Cost” is transport only. “Basic” adds a tour leader, a Chianti winery tasting and a Tuscan lunch, with Pisa's Piazza dei Miracoli and San Gimignano on your own; “Traditional” adds a guided walk in Siena, and “Full Options” adds Siena Cathedral with a guide. The Siena walk and cathedral visit are in English only.
- German, Italian, French, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese need at least 4 participants, and wine tastings are in English with the tour leader translating. A vegetarian menu is available on request, and child seats cost extra if requested in advance. There is a moderate amount of walking and stairs, and the listing rules out wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments. Tips are extra.
- By train: direct regional trains from Santa Maria Novella take 87 to 98 minutes to Siena and the Regionale Veloce 51 to 66 minutes to Pisa; San Gimignano has no station, so it means a train to Poggibonsi and a €2.90 bus (Trenitalia). Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
