- About two hours of free time in San Gimignano; a Chianti winery with a vineyard and cellar tour, a guided tasting of three wines and a three-course lunch (gluten-free or vegetarian on request); then Siena, where the guided walk and the visit inside the cathedral and Piccolomini Library come only with the options that include them. The Siena walk is in a single language from April to October.
- From November to March, Monteriggioni is dropped and the coach is back in Florence about 30 minutes earlier. Lose an audio guide and the listing charges €80. By public transport San Gimignano has no station: a train to Poggibonsi, then a €2.90 bus (Trenitalia).
- The hill towns mean uphill and downhill walking, so the listing rules out wheelchair users and people with impaired mobility. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
