Florence: Timed Entry to Michelangelo's David + Audio App
Before you book
- A ticket, not a tour: there is no live guide, and instructions for the audio guide app come with the booking confirmation. Collect the ticket at the Accademia from 15 minutes before your slot, queuing at the listing's “red point” for bookings of up to 6 people or the “green point” for 7 or more. The slot is binding: miss it and you are refused entry.
- Bought direct from the museum's ticket service, B-Ticket, entry costs €20 in 2026 plus a €4 booking fee; under-18s go free and EU citizens aged 18 to 25 pay €2 (Galleria dell'Accademia). This listing adds the audio app; the museum's own audio guides cost €6 at its bookshop.
- Tickets bought online carry the visitor's name and are checked against ID, and a mismatch means no entry and no refund (the museum's ticket conditions, July 2026), so bring a passport or ID card. There is no cloakroom: large bags, backpacks and helmets are refused, water bottles up to 0.5 litres are allowed, and luggage storage is at the MyAccademia shop.
- Open Tuesday to Sunday, 8:15 am to 6:50 pm, last entry 6:10 pm; closed on Mondays, 25 December and 1 January. Entry is free on the first Sunday of each month and on 4 November 2026, when the museum takes no bookings. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
