Florence: Uffizi, Accademia & David Walk with Art Historian
Before you book
- The description sets the meeting under the Leonardo da Vinci statue; the starting point otherwise depends on the option. The small-group tour takes 3.5 hours and the private option 4: 90 minutes in the Uffizi, a walk past Piazza della Signoria, Orsanmichele and the Duomo with a gelato stop, then an hour in the Accademia, where it ends. The walk between the museums takes about 30 minutes.
- Included: timed tickets to both galleries, the art historian, headsets, a cup of gelato and a PDF guide with restaurant tips; groups are at most 9. Hotel pickup, other food and drinks, and gratuities are not included.
- Uffizi tickets carry each visitor's name: send the operator everyone's full name exactly as on the passport, as a mismatch means no entry and no refund. Entry is timed, and anyone who arrives after the group has gone in cannot join or get a refund. Both museums run security checks, and the Accademia's July 2026 ticket conditions bar tour operators from advertising queue-jumping.
- The Accademia has no cloakroom: large bags, backpacks and helmets stay out, and there is nowhere to leave suitcases. Both galleries close on Mondays. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.

Good to Know
- Uffizi tickets are nominative. The name on the ticket must match your ID document, or the museum will refuse entry. Please send Florence with Locals Group Tours the full names of all participants exactly as they appear on the passport.
- Duration depends on the option you choose: the small group tour is 3.5 hours, the private tour is 4 hours.
- Museum entry is timed. If you arrive after the group has gone in, the museum will not let you join and the booking cannot be refunded.
- Maximum 9 guests per group.
- Whisper headsets are provided, so you hear the guide clearly in the busy rooms.
- The Accademia has no cloakroom. Large bags, backpacks and helmets are not allowed inside. Scissors, blades and similar metal objects are not permitted in either museum.
- Please do not bring suitcases or large luggage — there is nowhere to leave them.
- The group walks about 30 minutes between the Uffizi and the Accademia.
