From Florence: Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa & Lunch at Winery
Before you book
- Meet the guide in front of Santa Maria Novella station; the listing offers two starting points by option. The coach is back in Florence around 8:30 PM, and you can stay in Pisa with your luggage to catch a train or flight; book onward trains from Florence for after 9 PM. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included.
- Included: a guided walk in Siena with a Siena Cathedral ticket (the Palazzo delle Papesse instead if the cathedral is closed for services), free time in Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa, and a short guided walk in Pisa. Lunch at an organic Chianti winery with a tasting of four wines comes only with the lunch option; without it you get longer in San Gimignano. Entry to the Leaning Tower comes only with the option that includes it.
- By train: direct regional trains from Santa Maria Novella take 87 to 98 minutes to Siena, and the Regionale Veloce 51 to 66 minutes to Pisa. San Gimignano has no station, so you ride to Poggibonsi and take a bus to the town, €2.90 on top of the train fare (Trenitalia).
- Vegetarian meals are available, but gluten-free and other diets cannot be catered for. Not suitable for people with mobility impairments. The listing gives no season; its calendar showed October 2026 departures when checked. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.

- If the Siena Cathedral is closed for religious services, the Palazzo delle Papesse will be visited instead

- If you are leaving Florence by train after the tour or need to get off at Pisa to catch a flight or train from there, you can bring your luggage with you. It is recommended that you book any rail travel from Florence after 9:00 PM to allow time for any delays on the return journey
